In the last 72 hours I have developed an alter ego. And I kinda like her a lot. She is a lot sexier than me, and she feels really good about herself. She looks less messy, more business. She has an amazing amount of unbounded energy and is able to do more than three things at once without screwing them up. She gets by on a few hours of sleep a day and does not freak out about it. She feels really confidant about her abilities, her Mama'ing, her doing. And she likes how she looks.
Who would have thought a hair straightener on a Friday night would have such an effect? Though she may have to retire after she attends
this tonight. It does not seem feasible to keep her around for too long...especially since her hair has not been washed for a few days.
But that flat iron, well, it is on order, just so she can come back sometime soon and make me feel a little less Me and a lot more Her.
Any good ideas for a name for her?

Boy can i understand what you just said there, I'm way to lazy to straighten my hair. I havn't done it in ages and its too long for me to do it anyway. But boy do I feel fancy when it is straight! I've had one person tell me I "cleaned up nicely" LOL! um thanks.. straight hair is always more sleek and modern and cool. Overall though I love my curly hair, it's natural, laid-back, honest and unassuming!

You look gorgeous! But then again, you always looks gorgeous. Personally, I love curly hair. mine has always fallen somewhere in between curly and straight. But I agree - it's amazing what actually DOING your hair and getting a little more dressed up (i.e. pulled together) can do for the ego. I think you should call her Amiee :-)
I love your curls. You look fetching with straight hair but I think you look stunning with a full mane of curls.
Wow, you look fab!! I love your curls too. I went with straight hair for a whole year - permanent straightening!!! But it's all grown out and I'm back to my curls now and I have to say...I love them though they're messy and tangly and require tons more hair product!!!! Enjoy your blues night:)

I like the change, but I am very partial to the curls! Something about curly hair fits your personality.
I've tried straightening my hair but it looks horrible that way. Too much body while also being straight.
Lola---confident, in control, a little flirty, sometimes naughty and she has it completely together. Lola would most definitely never wear curls (even though they are darling.)
