It was a really good experience to carry the camera yesterday and shoot constantly. And I loved watching the day unfold in pictures, just those ordinary daily moments becoming captured memories. Most of our days look just like that, except the poop diapers and the general chaos was gently edited out...mainly because I cannot hold a camera and manage chaos at the same time. I might drop the camera.
I am eternally grateful to have the means to capture these moments via photography. It is such a powerful tool. I know I do not need 30 or so gigabytes of stored memories burned into DVD after DVD, I know I should edit more, become ruthless with the delete button. But I just cannot. Because those moments, their mine. Even though they are just every day, ordinary moments.
You should try your own Day In the Life. You never know what might come into focus.

Awesome! Love it. External hard drives are becoming a lot cheaper now. I always back mine up in two places. DVD's and CD's sometimes go blank after a few years.
i just looked through your flicker set and what a gorgeous glimpse into your day. o and m are breath-taking! and you and tim are not so bad yourselves! you've inspired me to do the same...some day soon.

I think my favorite of the bunch (and generally a non-keeper) is the pic of the Olive Garden takeout. How many times have I eaten takeout in the last three years???
this is extraordinary and i think i might try a version tomorrow. three of us home sick, possibly Dave home too with a snowstorm...lots of runny photos. but still. you make everyday look nice.
Loved the pictures. What kind of camera do you use? I am in the market for a new one. My cannon powershot is just not doing it anymore.
I always love to walk past old houses and wonder what the people who live inside must be doing or what they are like in real life (I always think that everyone else is far more interesting than me) This glimpse into your day is just like that and I loved the slide show:):) More, more!!!!
